Synopsis

This video demonstrates how inductive voltage spikes can be created using a transformer. The presenter uses a battery, a switch, and an LED to illustrate the concept. By energizing a winding on the transformer and then releasing the switch, the magnetic fields collapse, producing a voltage spike that can be measured with an oscilloscope.
